YAH Agency and Southend Productions score Telly Award for GA Power.
ATLANTA, GA (May 21, 2024) - Atlanta based Yah Agency and Southend Productions have helped Georgia Power, a subsidiary of Southern Company, secure silver at the 45th annual Telly Awards with “Ready, Set, Save.” This year saw a record-breaking 13,000 entries from 56 countries across the globe, from independent production studios and networks to major brands.
The “Ready, Set, Save” campaign won in the Business-to-Consumer category for Local TV. The focus of the campaign was created to heighten awareness around energy efficiency. “In an effort to practice what Georgia Power preaches, this was by far the most efficient production I’ve been a part of,” said former YAH Agency Creative Director, Greg Grantham.
A total of 4 separate ads (with extra scenes for multi-year use) were produced at a single location over the course of 4 production days, one of which was a full day for pre-light, blocking and rehearsal of all camera movements throughout the location. As a part of the campaign, Southend was able to produce vertical social content as well as still photography for the Georgia Power Residential “Ready, Set, Save” campaign within the same set of production days.
